Patrick Hait, President
Patrick Hait has been a beginning band teacher in the Central Islip School District since 2004. He loves seeing students’ eyes light up when they experience success in their lessons. Teaching music is a truly rewarding experience!
In addition to teaching, Patrick’s hobbies include road cycling and serving as the captain of 400-passenger ferry boats to Fire Island. When he’s not cycling or boating, you’ll find him behind the computer, dedicated to creating solutions that make teachers’ lives and office functions more efficient.
In 2019, Patrick founded Da Capo Music Festivals, providing enriching musical experiences for students. The following year, he launched Da Capo Inventory, a powerful inventory and student management platform designed to streamline administrative tasks for educators. This initiative grew into Da Capo Web Development LLC, where Patrick continues to develop tools that enhance nomination and registration platforms for counties and states across the country.
Patrick takes great pride in his work, always striving to simplify the complex and support educators with innovative, user-friendly software solutions.
Joe Martinez, Junior Developer
Joe Martinez is a senior at Stony Brook University, pursuing a dual focus in Software Engineering and Applied Mathematics. His academic journey is driven by a strong passion for problem-solving, innovation, and the dynamic world of technology. Alongside his technical pursuits, Joe is a dedicated musician with over a decade of experience playing the French horn and mellophone.
As an active member of the Spirit of Stony Brook Marching and Varsity Bands, Joe has not only showcased his musical talents but also demonstrated strong leadership skills through his role in section leadership. His commitment to excellence, both on and off the field, reflects his ability to balance rigorous academic studies with artistic expression.
A proud alumnus of Central Islip High School, Class of 2021, Joe credits his early educational and musical experiences for shaping his work ethic and passion for continuous learning. Whether he’s coding complex algorithms or performing in front of a crowd, Joe brings enthusiasm, dedication, and a collaborative spirit to everything he does.
